The system incorporates sidewalls and protective grilles, together with a protective bonnet stopping operation of the conveyor when opened. The end roller is carried in sliding blocks adjusted by spindles in the sidewalls, and there is a discharge trough coupled to a roller scraper blade. The bearings in the sliding blocks (2) are horizontally split, the top halves (4) being secured to the bonnet (5) and the bottom ones to the sidewalls. The spindles are attached to the discharge trough. The clearance between trough and roller (11) can be kept constant by means of the spindles, and a scraper can be provided, equipped with three pendulum plates and an end plate, the latter being fixed to it.
