A device for developing diazo type copies, such that the copies are fed through a bath containing a powdered material type developer, has the container or bath (1) constructed with smooth interior sides and a domed base. A circulating rotary device (22) is mounted within the bath (1) to circulate the developer (2). The axis of the circulatory device (22) runs in the direction of the doming of the container (1), and such that the copy is fed into the container (1), and transported by the motion of the developer (2) along the base of the container (1) and fed out from the other side of the container.
