The miniature electromagnetic contactor is intended for night storage heaters and other inductionless circuits. The circuit breaking points are arranged alternately at both main sides of the moving contact support, and the moving contacts are formed by levers which penetrate alternately in opposite directions from apertures in the contact support. They are tiltably mounted in the apertures against the force of their contact springs. On either side of the contact support are symmetrically arranged switching chambers which permit incorporation of contact units with single and double breaking action. During single breaking action the switching chambers out of use retain a flexible connecting strip between the moving contact and the contactor terminal.
