Air deflecting device for gasbadeoefen or a gas heating boiler

A wall mounted gas boiler has a conventional draught diverter with an opening in the front of the boiler. A shield consisting of a front plate with two side plates is placed in front of the draught diverter so that it leaves an upward air passage and a downward one between the shield front plate and the boiler front. A corrugated sheet metal baffle hooked at the bottom of the shield prevents return flow from the back plate and has a central opening for flame ignition. The shield can attach to the boiler by means of hooks. The attachment is easy to clean and improves the room side appearance of the appliance.
