Liquid polysulphide polymers having terminal -SH groups are cured rapidly by mixing with zinc compound curing agents and tetramethylthiuram polysulphide curing agents. The first curing agent may be zinc peroxide or zinc carbonate and the second may be tetramethyl-thiuram disulphide. The compositions may also contain sulphur, plasticizers, fillers, pigments, fluidizing solvents and perfumes, and alkali metal or alkaline earth metal hydroxides when the cured polymer is to be free from pores. Examples are given.
