1361200 Fish food U BAENSCH 22 Dec 1971 [24 Dec 1970] 59615/71 Heading A2B A fish food comprises food bodies of comminuted food particles which are held together by a bonding agent, in which the food bodies are pliable sheets having an area of more than 3cmSP2/SP. The food is preferably for aquarium fish and consists of a mixture of finely ground dry fish, powdered beef liver, oat meal, rice meal, powdered carrot, powdered egg yolk, yeast, wheatgerm, sodium alginate, gelatine, agar agar and cod liver oil. The food may comprise two food bodies arranged one above the other with cavities therebetween as shown in Fig. 5, or the two bodies may be of an undulating shape, the bodies at the points of contact being adheringly interconnected (Fig. 8, not shown). The food may be in the form of a roll for ease of delivery to the surface of water in an aquarium (Fig. 11, not shown).
