Electromagnetic device for removing faults in rolled products, tubes etc. has a collector (I) and a winding which magnetises the rolled product treatment areas. (I) is in the form of three individually mounted spiral (II) (III) (IV) of which (II) is inductively mounted and (III) and (IV) are arranged coaxially on each side of (II) and are connected in opposition.
