The passenger seat (7) for a tractor is hinged over the rear mudguard to a swing down into the cab. The seat is hinged on two sets of levers with one set (9) lying flat on the mudguard and the second set, hinged on the first, to connect between the first levers and the seat. The second levers (8) lie aginst the inside of the mudguard, which forms the seat back. A stay (14) secures the seat position. The seat provides some back support for the passenger. It is wide enough for the passenger to sit at an angle facing forwards, with his back supported in the corner formed by the stay and the mudguard.
