Linear induction machine for linear pumps and drives - has self compensation for longitudinal edge effects of its parts

The linear induction machine can be used both in induction pumps conveying electrically conducting liquid and in linear motor transport systems, and has compensation for the longitudinal edge effects of its parts, (i. e. gap, yoke, core). The machine has windings in a slotted magnetic core which contains two closed circuits. Each closed circuit (5) has two active parts (7) spaced apart by a distance equal to one or more pole pitches. These closed circuits are formed by connecting coils in the winding in parallel with one another.
