Title cpds. are of formula (where R is H, halogen or 1-4C alkyl, alkoxy or alkylthio). They may be used as selective or total herbicides depending on the appln. rate, and are esp. useful for the control of weeds in cotton, maize, rice, carrot and cereal crops. They also have insecticidal acaricidal and fungicidal activities.
