Plate-shaped test body for investigating the physical, esp. the technological props. of thermoplasts, esp. for injection moulding, has the bottom/top faces formed in the shape of an equal-sided polygon, while the top face is provided with grooves running diametrically at right angles to the front faces of the body. Appts. enables all physical tests, including tensile strength, impact resistance, notched impact resistance, flex resistance, and shrinkage under the influence of temp., moisture and chemicals, to be effected easily in a normal testing machine.
