Orthopaedic extension appliance - with corset style support for lower body with traction directed by strap

The orthopaedic extension appliance has two holders one for the upper part of the body and the other lower body holder consisting of a corset (31), with diagonal pulling straps (32) fixing the corset and used to transfer the force acting on the straps from one side of the corset to the other side. Pref. the pulling straps (32) are coupled to the corset over fixing elements (33) whilst the free ends are fastened to the corset by rope clips (34). The straps are fixed to the back f the corset and guided to the front through loops (37). Alternatively the straps can be actually constructed integrally with the corset.
