Folded carboard or rigid synthetic sheet shelving or decorative assembly comprises a frame with shaped planer components. The latter serve as storage bearing decks. The frame is dervied from the folding of sheets generally parallel to the longitudinal axis, whereby rigidity is obtained and connecting bracket seats and slots are formed. A sheet is sub-divided into five longitudinal strips (11, 12, 13, 14, 15) by creases or ribs (1, 2, 3, 4,) and folded along the latter to obtain the unit in its final form. Flank strips (11, 15) are upperly foreshortened, with the head of one of them folded diagonally (6) and transverse (5) to form a seat (16) and a tuck-in tab (45). The final form is of 'L' section with slots (41 etc). The decks are typically rectangular in plan with eight corner tabs for connection to columns.
