This strap fastening device for ski straps consists of two elements. One element (12) is in the form of a hook which fits into a square opening on the second element. This second element is curved to follow the shape of the boot. On the convex outer surface of the second element (10) is a spring plate which follows the curve of the element so that when the hook element is in place in the opening the spring plate rests against the hook to hold it in place. The elements are rivetted to the strap ends with the hook element at a distance from the end of the strap thus providing a pull strap with which to open and fix the fasten.
