A device for the demonstration of bending of bars with different cross-sectional shapes. The device has bars with certain dimensions which are so placed at the device's narrow side that their back ends are held in a vice, operated from the outside by a spindle, and mounted on a metal frame fastened to a transparent plastic plate. The other bar end projects into a frame movable in the bar bending direction and provided with a pointer. The other bar is connected through a lever system to an adjustment device outside the metal frame, the lever system operating a dynamometer (20).
