The calendar control mechanism is an improvement on the former design as the possibility of a double current path is now corrected. In the calendar control mechanism type A the current of the driving motor (6) flows via two conductors connected in parallel. One conductor is closed by the flap of the 3 minute switching clock (2) and the other by the flap of the electromagnetic gear switch (1). Inthe mechanisms type B and C, the current of the driving motor (5) and contact cylinder (4) flows via two conductors connected in parallel. As in type A, conductor is closed by the flap of the switching clock (2) and the other by the flap of the electromagnetic gear switch (3). The switch contacts are arranged to isolate alternative connections to avoid a double circuit.
