Roll over protection frame for tractor - with tubular sections filled with plastic to prevent kinking

The tractor cab is protected by a roll-over protective frame with uprights at the four corners of the cab. The uprights are secured on the rigid chassis structure for maximum effect and are made from hollow section metal struts for lightness and strength. In order to prevent the hollow sections from kinking they are filled with either a plastic foam or a core of compressed plastic granules. This does not add greatly to the weight while it improves the strength by a large amount.
