Perforator for plastic drain pipes - has fusion cutter for producing water inlet openings in the valleys of corrugated wall pipes

Water inlet openings are introduced into the walls of thermoplastic resin drain - or filter pipes. The openings are produced by heated fusion cutters which penetrate the pipe wall, pref. during mfr. and suitably from the outside inwards in the valleys of transverse or helical corrugations on the drain pipe walls. The openings can be produced during pipe mfr. without modifying the pipe extruder. The size of the openings is such that they act as their own filter to exclude soil particles, so that external filter wrappings are unnecessary.
