Central heating system thermostat with temp. correction stage - one end of thermostat element locates in heating sleeve controlled by programmer

A temperature correction unit is included in a room temperature thermostat used in a central heating system. It is coupled to the programming unit. The thermostat element (1) is coupled to the main flow control valve in a central heating system. One end of the thermostat element locates in an heating sleeve (3) supplied with electrical power (23e controlled by the system programmer. Since the power supplied is a constant valve the temperature correction applied is varied by moving the sleeve relative to the thermostat. A clamping screw fixes the final location.
