Aminobenzoic acid derivs. of formula (I) and their salts are novel cpds.: (where R1 = H or halo; R2, R3, = H, halo or 1-6C alkyl with the condition that R1, R2 and R3 are not simultaneously H). (I) improve liver function and, strengthen and normalise immunity and antiviral activity and are used to treat immuno-depletion illnesses such as articular rheumatism, auto-depletion illnesses, cancer, bacterial infections and asthma. They are administered in daily doses of 0.5-3000mg (pref. 10-300mg) orally or 0.5-100mg (pref. 1-100mg) parenterally.
