A voltage amplitude limiter for the output of an operational amplifier (1) uses a minimum of extra modules and does not affect the transmitted signal by the transfer properties of the limiter. The output voltage (Ua) of the operational amplifier (1), which is used as a PI-controller and receives an input signal (Ue) on its inverting input, is passed through a resistor (3) to an amplifier (2) with a dead zone. The amplifier (2) includes the operational amplifier (21) in a diagonal of a diode bridge (22-25). The other bridge diagonal is linked by resistors (26, 27) to potentiometers (28, 29).
