The front tractor is joined to the tractor following it by a coupling lift. The coupling consists of an implement driven with its back on a chassis. The implement has a part which can be raised and lowered in relation to the vehicle chassis (16), to which the following tractor is attached by a three-point linkage. The upper link is connected to a fluid cylinder. Rigid and movable connections attach the following tractor. The movable connection consists of one which is adjustable in length by a double-acting hydraulic cylinder. A stop for a coupling joined to the end of the following tractor is spaced from the ground by a distance corresponding to that of the coupling.
