The slide-bearing consists of a bottom and a top bearing piece which can be moved in relation to one another along a slide plane. The bottom bearing piece comprises a metal frame (1) into which mortar is poured to form a plate (2). The mortar plate and metal frame are joined to a base (3). The top surface of the mortar plate has a sliding disc fixed to it preferably of polished fine-steel plate. The top bearing piece consists of a metal frame (4) and mortar plate (5) the underneath side of which has a slide-layer. The bridge-support structure (7) rests on a flexible rubber plate (6) which in turn rests on the surface of the mortar plate (5). An adjustment piece (8) touching the frame (4) of the top bearing-piece compensates for any horizontal deformation. Screws (10) fix the top bearing-piece in its position relative to the bottom bearing-piece after the slide-bearing has been adjusted.
