Cooling bed for hot rolled long steel plates - where plates travel in vertical stack to save floor space

At least two tracks sepd. by groups of transport levers mounted on a stand. After one set of levers has swung a plate into the vertical position two further sets of swivel levers are used for the stepwise travel of the plate across the stand and it is then lowered onto the exit truck. The swivel levers pref. have a box section so the distance between each plate in the vertical stack is 600 mm. The max. temp. of the plates is pref. 600 degrees C, when it is swung into the vertical position so it is not distorted by the transport levers. Used for cooling plates 30-50 metres long.
