The bobbin for fine thread includes a hollow tubular core with a detachable flange attached to each end. The tubular core (10) sleeve is fitted with rolled ends (26). These have oblique tapped holes n30), in which are located bolt fasteners (38) for securing the flange (34). The tapped hole (30) is embedded in a core insert (12) which forms a support (28, 20) and centring surface for the flange (34). The edge (26) is either formed by inwards rolling of the end of the tubular core or forms a separate part.
