Combination tool for fitting insulation around pipes - can punch rectangular holes to clear pipe supports and includes folding knife blade

The combination tool consists of two parts (10, 12) connected by a pivot (14). The two parts form two handles (16, 18) and two jaws (20, 22). The jaws (20, 22) are provided with cutting edges (24, 26). The jaw (20) has a rectangular punch (28) which co-operates with a rectangular dia. (34) in the jaw (22). When a sheet of insulating material is placed between the jaws of the tool, a rectangular slot can be cut in the material connected by a slit to the outside edge. This enables the insulating material to clear the pipe supports when being wrapped around a pipe. A knife blade which folds into the handle (16) is used for cutting the material and the awl (48) for making fixing holes.
