The wheel sets are preferably linked to a lever system enabling the wheels to pivot inwards between the sligh runners when not required. The wheels and axles could be clamped to the runners or the runners provided with spaces whereby the rollers are fitted between the respective spaces, to permanently project approximately 3mm below the runner surface. A seat with washable cover, (16) a brake system (20) and a single cell battery lighting set (24) with rear reflector (22) is also provided. Steering is effected by a front pivotable skid (13) provided with rollers. A folding draw bar (12) and folding of to rests (26) are also included.
