Deck chair trolley for use on beach - has wide cylindrical wheels to spread load on sand and narrow tyre for road use

The multi-purpose beach trolley is for transporting beach gear and can be converted into a deck chair. A set of cylinder-shaped wheels (1, 3) are seated in plain bearings (5) on the chassis (7) carrying frame. The four wheels are designed to be suitable for beach- and pavement use and are fitted with tyres, with the two centre wheels (3) solely for use on beach terrain. The wheels are fitted with a common axle and the pivots fitted at each end are run in plain bearings provided on the longitudinal bearers of the chassis. The bearings for the wheels can be open-ended towards the ground with a pin (6) securing the pivots in place.
