Combined fertiliser spreader, seed drill and furrow former - has outlet pipes for fertiliser and seed, soil rakes and rollers

A cultivator has a shaft carrying furrow making rings (3) with converging side rims (4). The front of the chassis (1) has an attachment (5) for a tractor, and has attached to it a fertiliser-spreader (6) and seed hopper (7), with discharge pieces (8) driven by the shaft via a chain (9), variable-speed gear (10), and chain-drives (11, 12). Behind the furrow rings (3) are soil rakes (14) with adjustable perforated strips (15) and fixtures each with an elongated hole (16) for height control. The rakes (14) consist of flexible plates (18) set at an angle to the direction of travel. In front, attached to the plates (18) are tubes (21) secured by clamps (22) to the fertiliser spreader. The seed distributor tubes (23) are attached to fixtures (17) to the seed drill (7). Behind the tubes (23) are soil rakes (25) and rollers (26) with springs (27).
