Copying turret lathe with tread chasing facility - has movable copying probe which keeps turret feed synchronous with spindle rotation

A copying lathe with workpiece feed system as in the main patent, employs a thread chasing system without the thread chasing arrangement mounted on the turret. The copying probe (13) is moved by rotation of the main spindle (5). The movement is synchronous according to the pitch of the thread to be cut. The turret (1) with chasing tool follows the copying probe (13) through the copying template which is positioned between the turret arms. The nut is housed in a fork, and the lead screw prevents rotation.
