Indexing system having standardized raster panels and a standardized flat material

The storage system for tools is based on a square module which is arranged up in a standardised manner. The storage pigeon holes which are formed are closed by labels which are squares or rectangles, composed of several modules. Each label would bear the silhouettes of a group of tools. The whole board space is used (by the labels, not necessarily by the silhouettes or tools). Possible rearrangements are easier to identify and execute than if labels of irregular size were allowed. If the new labels are numbered in an orderly fashion, it becomes simpler to give an exact description of the position of any tool on the board.
