Ring binder securing system - uses closure holder and locking strip fitting through projecting ring sections

The securing device for a ring binder mechanism attached to a book or binder cover has at least one pair of divided rings and consists of a ring closure holder which tightly encloses both ring sections with an oblong hole with the holder being superimposed on to a closed ring from above, and a bolt which fits from below through the oblong hole into that ring section projecting beyond the holder. The ring closure holder is made as a closure ledge (14) bridging the distance between at least two rings, with the bolt being a separate locking strip (16) which when located in the locked position on the closure ledge (14) fits at least partially through the ring areas projecting beyond the oblong holes.
