Remote controlled toy boat with reversible propeller - has rudder located ahead of propeller causing boat to change course on reversal

A remote controlled toy boat (1) has a reversable propeller (7) which is located along the boats centre line at the stern. The rudder (3) is also located on the same centre line, but ahead of the propeller (7). The rudder is able to pivot about a vertical shaft (4) to a fixed position of about 30 deg.. When the boat moves backwards, the water pressure on the rudder (3) forces it to swivel in its angular position. This produces a turning moment about a vertical axis. Thus the boat alters its course. For forward motion, the rudder is operated by normal remote control.
