The converter is connected to two different potentials, which set its output signal to one or the other potential level, depending on a digital signal applied to its input. The first and second potential (P1, P2) can be applied to the output (A) through a first or a second output transistor (T4, T5). Conducting state of one output transistor (T4, T5) determines the blocked state of the other (T5, T4). Connection of the first potential (P1) and of the second potential (P2) to the output (A) is made through low resistance resistors (R4, R5), and a potential different from (P1, P2) is applied to the convertor input (E).
