A system for control of climate or environment, in partic for creation of suitable plant growth conditions in dry hot regions with large temperature variations between summer and winter conditions, is constructed such that in times of strong solar radiation retention eg summer daytimes, a portion of the collected solar energy is transferred from the collector devices and stored in the soil. This stored energy may then be extracted and used during periods eg winter nights, when the intake of solar energy by the collectors is low.
