In connection with magnetic hovertrack transport systems, where the reactor rails for lateral guiding and/or linear motor drive are fitted to a flexible tongue, the mechanically adjustable junction points unit has a drive by which the ends of coil carrier and piece in the form of such a tongue. The coil carrier end piece (1) in this form is curved so that, when unstressed, it adopts a central position between two coil carrier end pieces (4, 5) and which it can be selectively connected. This makes it possible to reduce the number of points setting drive units by about half, without incurring any cross-sectional weakening of the coil carrier which is to be bent, and without any loss of reliability of emergency guidance.
