The system switching and control units are mounted in boxes which are covered with lids. Several boxes of the same or od different sizes can be joined together to form a complete switching field. Fastening means, pref. fastening bosses (22, 22a) with a 25mm module, are provided iinside each box (24) and are mounted on its base plate. They hold fastening devices for installation units. The module corresponds to the dimensions of a box. The various elements (28) may be mounted in the lid (25) of each box.
