Connector for perpendicular furniture panels - has anchor ring and eccentric pin for pulling plates together

The detachable connector especially is for two flat plates connected at an angle to each other. Used for joining a furniture wall to the furniture top plate. On one wall is an anchoring ring engaging a fastening pin pushed through the second plate. The connection is readily and simply made and the connector components can be prefitted for assembly of furniture by the user. The preinstalled connector components do not project and hence damage is prevented in transport. The anchor base is readily fitted into the plug (6) in the furniture plate surface. The anchor base has a bayonet lug arrangement so that, after insertion into slot (9) of the base plug in the wall, the anchor ring (4) is firmly fixed by half a turn. The pin pushed through the other plate hole (21) has a cylindrical shank (20) with an eccentric extension (22). This end enters the anchor ring and the connection is tightened by rotating the eccentric pin by its head with the screwdriver slot (23).
