Concrete beam prefabricated composite reinforcement - with straight ended U-loops and additional strip tension reinforcing mat

The prefabricated tension, thrust and composite reinforcement is for reinforced-concrete beams and ribs, with a composite mesh comprising a steel mat with intersecting rods welded together. The transverse rods are bent into a U shape, forming the loop shackles, with the lengthways rods sited in their open arm ends. The open arm ends of the loop shackles (1) are straight. There is an additional tension reinforcement, in the form of a strip of a steel mat with its lengthways rods (8, 9, 12) extending parallel to the composite mesh in the area of the latter's lengthways rods (2, 4). The transverse rods (7) in the strip may be straight ones.
