Heat exchanger for highly viscous materials - has rotating partitions for reducing turbulence losses and improving heat transfer

The heat exchanger has two separate partitioned circuits. The heat conducting partitioning arrangement rotates for improving heat transfer without high turbulence losses. Friction between the substance and the separator is increased for further improvement of heat transfer and for preventing thermal stratification. The thermal conducting separator (5) is basically a hollow component with cylindrical extension (6). These hollow components rotate within a cylindrica container (1). The first deflector plates (2) are connected to the wall of the container. These deflectors project into the space between the cylindrical extensions (6) of the hollow component (5). The deflector plates (2,8) are providing with scraping or stripping arrangements (13).
