In a wet scrubber for dust-laden air pref. for underground mines, a two stage droplet separator is located between the agglomeration some and the extractor fan. The separator consists of a coarse droplet separator and a fine droplet separator. The coarse droplet separator is in the form of a curved-path (deflection) slot separator, and the fine droplets are removed in an agglomerator. The system has a low press. drop in relation to its efficiency.
