The tin is for the wheel of a turnip or carrot lifter, where a number of tines (3) consisting of flexible material are connected in such a way that the tines can move freely around their axis of attachment. The tines have relief grooves (5) parallel to their longitudinal axis and also have a flange (6) parallel to their transverse axis. The outer surfaces of the flange are at least partially bevelled. The tine has a continuation piece (14) at its outer end to which a flexible flange (12) is attached to avoid any damage to the turnips or carrots.
