The combined rigidly fixed hair washing installation consists of a hair wash basin, which can rotate about a vertical axis. During its rotation it simultaneously adjusts it's height so that in the lower position forward washing can take place whilst backward washing can be carried out with the basin in the raised position. The correlated process of simultaneous turning and lifting of the hair wash basin takes place through a simple or combination spiral arrangement and the various operating positions are fixed by notches fitted to the spirals. The wash basin has an almost circular edge fitted at one or more points with a lip for the neck to facilitate backward washing.
