The column support is esp suitable for use as a nodal point support in a silo, comprising a coil unit made up from erectable cell wall units. It comprises a vertically aligned rectangular-sectioned steel tube with pairs of lengthways running flat cross arms projecting from its external surfaces, symmetrically arranged. Each such pair of cross arms can be connected to a U-shaped on the cell walls, locking onto the cross arms and overlapping them. The corner space formed at the support by two abutting walls may be fitted with a cover between the shaped shoes, pref in the form of a flank-attached sheet metal plate.
