Suit for sports pilots, partic. gliders, consists of jacket and trousers made of fabric fleece or woven or knitted fabric consisting of yarns, polyester, polyterephthalate, polyamide, elastomer, cotton, wool, silk, hemp, or their mixts. The suit may have 1/4-1/2 length sleeves or full-length sleeves, and in a pocket beneath the collar may be a weatherproof hood in a distinctive colour, made of the same material as the outer layer or lining of the suit. A weatherproof collar which can be closed up to the lapel points may be incorporated in the neck-hole. Pref. the sleeve, which consists of an outer layer, is connected to a side panel which consists of outer layer and lining and which is attached independently of the outer layer of the jacket to an elastic back lining and to an elastic front lining.
