The multiple wing arrangement for outsize fixed-wing aircraft consists of several wing units of conventional design and size mounted one behind the other in place of a single wing. This removes the limit currently placed on aircraft size/weight by the limitations of wing dimensions. The arrangement is not restrictive in terms of the characteristics of the wing design used, but wind tunnel tests must be carried out to establish optimum relative positions, angles and distances apart.
