The light-and heat radiation of the sun are directly converted into heat, via radiation-absorbent surfaces. The resulting heat is transferred to a liquid, and supplied via a positive circuit to a heat store and a water heater, for use. The liquid is then returned to the circuit, to be re-heated. The sunlight radiation is measured by a light scanner, and the temperature of the surfaces absorbing the solar energy is simultaneously measured by a sensor. a certain measured value combination is both sensor and scanner automatically switches in a circuit, limited to the heat store and water heater, excluding the absorbent surfaces. Parallel elements of the heat store are individually switched into the circuit.
