Car body flow line conveyor - has turning belt alongside main belt with hinged arm to swing horizontal bodies into vertical position

The conveyor is for flow line processing of car bodies and comprises a main conveyor with horizontal hanger arms for the car bodies. The arms are horizontally hinged and a turning conveyor is placed alongside the main conveyor with a hinged arm to contact the car body. The turning conveyor rises or falls in relation to the main conveyor so that in a first stretch of the conveyor the car body is turned 90 deg. from horizontal to a vertical position round a horizontal axis. In a second stretch, the car body is carried along in this vertical position until it is returned to the horizontal in a third stretch of the conveying run. The position of the carbody can be adjusted for working level after it has been upended by means of an opposed slope in the main and turning conveyors.
