Curtain hung rear ventilated wall facing slab - uses impact and tension resistant fibre reinforced wood wool

The external wall facing panel takes advantage of the possibilities afforded by the application of rendering material to an inorganic mineral and organic plastic base. It can be used for a wide variety of configurations, including jointless surfacing, and also permits provision of a curtain -hung rear-ventilated facade with an external rendering finish. It is in the form of a lighweight building slab of wood wool, with a fibre reinforcement, on one or both sides, for enhancement of impact and tension resistance, esp. flexural tension strength. The slab may be cement or magnesite bonded, and may have a rendering layer on the fibre reinforcement on one side. A layer of paint may also be applied to this.
