The pulse generator circuit includes a diode bridge which consists of two branches, each with two diodes (D1,D3;D2,D4). Control voltage is so applied through resistors (R3,R4), that the diodes forward direction coincides with the control voltage polarity. Control pulses are applied to the junction point (A) of one bridge branch (D1,D3). A high gain amplifier (V2,V3) with negative feed-back is connected to the junction point (B) between diodes (D2,D4) in the other bridge branch. Pulses representing digital values are fed to a digital-to-analogue converter which provides control voltages to the diode bridge.
